Christmas is one of my most favorite times of the year. It's a time of reflection as well as a time for family and friends. The picture to the left is one I took with my camera phone, while shopping in Boise. Each year, a tree is placed on the Capitol steps to celebrate the season. In the past, the dome was lit with lights as well, but in the spirit of conserving energy, it was decided to leave off the dome lights and use low voltage lights on the tree.
